Mother's Day Out

MISSION STATEMENT: To encourage and instruct each child through developmentally approriate, hands on play activities and a variety of interactive experiences.

These are designed to promote physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual development. We believe that each child is a unique gift from God and will develop at his/her own rate, so our program allows for individual differences in rates and styles of learning. Development is encouraged in a positive, nurturing, and caring environment. Our primary educatonal resource is the Wee Learn curriculum. Mother's Day Out is a ministry of First Southern Baptist Church. As such, we are blessed with the responsibility of providing daily instruction through songs, activities, and stories from the Bible. Each day is a new opportunity to reveal the love of our Lord, to each and every child.

STAFF: The Mother's Day Out staff consists of a directer, co-teacher, and substitutes guided by Pastor Jim Gregory. The adult to child ratio is 1-6 for the 2- year old class and 1-7 for the other classes.

ATTENDANCE: Classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a. m. to 2:00 p.m. There are 2, 3 and 4 day options available. Children may not arrive earlier than 8:55 a.m. and must be picked up promptly at 2 p.m. An overtime charge of $1.00 will be charged for every minute before 8:55 a. m. or past 2:05 p.m. Unless you made prior arrangements with the director or teacher.

TUITION, FEES and SCHOOL CALENDAR: Tuition is due the first school day of the month. Payments should be made out to Mother's Day Out. It is based on a 4 week month, months with 5 weeks more than make up for the few holiday closures. Mother's Day Out honors the same holidays, early dismissal schedule, and bad weather policies as the public school district. You will find a list of these days on the Mother's Day Out bulletin board. There is an annual registration fee due at the time of registration. Registration fees are non- refundable and will be re-charged if a student drops class one month or more. Students going on vacation or an extended leave of absence are expected to continue to pay their monthly class tuition to hold their spot in class. There are no credits/ substitutes for missed days or holidays. Only overpayments will be refunded.

There is a 20% off discount for active families of First Southern Baptist Church. Please see the Director and the Personnel Committee to see if you qualify. Families who do not qualify will recieve 10% off of tuition after the 1st child.

Registration- $35.00/ annual fee (Non Refundable)

2 Day Class- $125.00/ month

3 Day Class- $185.00/ month

4 Day Class- $250.00/month

Tuition late fee- $25.00/ after the 10th.

Insufficient funds fee- $25.00/plus the amount of tuition.

Tuition will be considered late if not paid by the 10th of the month. Payments should be made out ot Mother's day Out. We accept checks, money order or cash with exact change. If you will be late with your tuition payment, please make arrangements in advance with the director.

Please give the director at least two weeks notice before removing your child from the program.
